Love/Action remix

During lockdown in 2020, Paul was able to do something he'd long wanted to do, and remix Sniff'n'the Tear’s third album Love/Action. The album is available to order from today.

The remixed album also includes new bonus tracks, one of which is only available on this album.

Hear a couple of tracks and read the full story behind the album on the Love/Action album page.

The Ace Records write up explains it well:

"1981’s “Love/Action” had Paul Roberts leading a largely new band of musicians and Mike Howlett at the helm producing. This new edition is completely remixed by Paul to remove some the 80s patina and expose the rawer, more immediate sound of the original performances. The songs can now breathe a little easier and gain in strength as presented here. That splashy drum sound, beloved in the 80s, is now replaced by an altogether more robust rhythm and the guitars bite like they should. A much tougher record is here for all to hear. There are three bonus tracks, including ‘Say What You Mean’ which makes its debut here in any form. A very successful and welcome reappraisal that should garner more attention for a record that was lost in the sound of its time."

We hope you enjoy this new remix of the album - we think it's sounding better than ever.
